I just bought a new sketchbook. Usually when I have a sketchbook, I just fill it with poorly drawn filth to disturb my friends and myself. But not this time, so I'll post what I draw.

These next two are pretty nerdy. I was replaying Symphony of the Night earlier and started thinking about how it would've been cool if all of the unique equipment Alucard could get actually showed up on his sprite. After that I decided to make it into a little drawing assignment for myself.
This is a drawing of this equipment combo: Short Sword Leather Shield Hide Cuirass Sunglasses Cloth Cape Gauntlet Throwing knife (Subweapon) Mostly stuff from early in the game. I think he looks like John Lennon a bit.  My scanner didn't treat this drawing very well.

And this is my usual equipment set up for the end of the game:
Moon Rod Basilard Mojo Mail Wizard Hat Joseph's Cloak Mystic Pendant Ring of Varda I usually take the lightning gun as my subweapon but I wasn't able to work it into my drawing.  This is all very hypocritical of me because I make fun of legitimate fan-art on my website. But oh well. |

 I started off with the intent of just drawing a Guinea Pig but then I screwed that up and just modified it into a weird helmet for warrior girl here. I like this drawing but I think I should've done her right foot a little differently. |

 Someone I know wanted to know what my "type" looks like, so I drew this for them. She's supposed to look a little chubby, but I don't know if it's really all that apparent. |

Those are all really nice, Hobbes. I like the girl with the guinea pig helmet the best. Reminds me of some of the strange animal helmets you can get in Secret of Mana.

I colored some new sketches in Photoshop. I really like the way they turned out.
  Trying to branch out into new positions and actions. I must seem like a real perv drawing women all the time. |

Here's a redesign for Sweetbee & What's Up
  I'm not sure if I've ever given What's Up a species before, but I've decided he's an alligator now. He was probably a dinosaur before if anything, which seems like kind of a cliche. I dunno if I should change his spikes back to red or not, though. Any opinions? Sweetbee seems more accurate now. I don't want to be like that Megatokyo guy where my drawings of "myself" are intensely, intensely idealized, so I think this portrays my general real life sloppiness well enough while keeping within the cutesy style. He also has a nose now. |
