![]() I'm not a huge fan of CGI boxart overall, but this is one of the few I think was especially well-done.

Going back a little bit in this topic, one thing that's kind of funny about that Drakan boxart is that it looks like the dragon's engulfing itself in its own flames.
Here are some more that I like: ![]() ![]() Never been a huge fan of Doom, but I've always thought this artwork was cool anyway. ![]() Man, why did they change this to a blank white box for the American release? ![]() I think it's possible they just took a cel from the opening sequence of the show to make this, but I haven't actually done a side-by-side comparison. It could be redrawn. I don't know, but I still think it's neat either way. ![]() I could've sworn versions of this existed without that obnoxious Pizza Hut ad, but I couldn't find one. ![]() ![]() I think this is the greatest game box art ever.

Okay, this one will need a post all its own.
When I first saw this, it kind of blew me away. It's Rendezvous With Rama for the Commodore 64. There might have been other Commodore 64 art like this, but nothing for any console games I've seen. The box was about the size of an LP vinyl record. The front and back might not look that special: ![]() ![]() But when you open it up, there's double wide artwork: ![]() (Click for larger) And then you could open that up for quadruple wide artwork: ![]() (Click for larger) |

This guy looks scares out of his mind. CB007's GPT & Game Review Archive "Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done." |

Some oldies:
![]() ![]() ![]() Too bad I could not find a version of this one that doesn't have text obscuring the cat's face, and I've long since lost my original box for this game. (This might actually be a manual scan, but the box had the same art.)

Okay, I know I shouldn't post this here, because this is for *favorite* box art, not just any old box art, and is probably in fact supposed to counter all the "worst game boxes ever" articles on the web. But I've never seen this before (I found it while going through some of our older stuff; it was in a box of mostly FO's belongings), and when I first glimpsed it, I was pretty shocked at how ridiculous it was.
Plus, this thread hasn't been too busy lately, anyway, so what the hell.

I was just looking through Codie's worst box art feature.
While the characters don't look like Lemmings (I'd guess they might be ants), I don't think there's much wrong with the Adventures of Lomax art. I'd probably go so far as to say it looks pretty good.

If no one has any objections, I might take my favorite box arts from this thread and do a website feature on them.
