I think I have a thing for geometric shapes.
Some that don't have obvious cubes

I always liked the way the UFOs on the Space Invaders cover look like they have entire cities inside of them.

Ninjabread Man intrigues me, but I bet the title is worth more than the whole rest of the game.

Let's look at the evolution of Indiana Jones game box arts!
Here we've got the Atari 2600 box. Too bad the actual game was a mess! It's got great coloring, stuff is happening, and it's unique to the Atari 2600 game, unlike some later Indy games which just us pre-existing images...
... like this. And I'm pretty sure the cover of Temple of Doom on the NES is from some movie poster. Uh, Indy? The Nazis are that way...
I believe I've already professed my love for this cover, but again, you really have to see the box or manual in person.
This one's not bad, but it's kind of cluttered, and looks off-center. Okay, the girl's doing something, but Indy's just standing there, and the background is extremely busy. And Indy looks like he's got a hunchback. And whoever thought the "Pure Action. Pure Adventure. Pure Indy." thing was a good idea needs a slap.
Well, it's competently drawn, but the three humans and all the statues are staring at you more or less head-on, making for an astoundingly dull cover. It doesn't help that the only color is brown.
MOVING RIGHT ALONG.
Hey, Badly Drawn Down Syndrome Indy, could you move? I think there's something worth looking at going on behind you, but you're kind of in the way? |

More great stuff from Psygnosis.
Weird. I don't even know if this is official. What the heck even are those things that are grabbing onto Samus?
